The Upper-Left Convention for Squares (continued)

Here we see the corner pixels near square (1,1). The blue pixel belongs to square (1,1). The red pixels belong to it's neighboring squares:

And this shows the area of the map near square (1,1), blown up ten times. Note the blue pixel which is labled "MP" which stands for "My Pixel", i.e. a Corner Pixel which belongs to "This Square". The red pixels are labeled "NP" which stands for "Neighbor's Pixel", i.e. a Corner Pixel which belongs to a square other than "This Square":
